Landscape - San Diego from Above

San Diego, named after Saint Didacus (Spanish: Diego de Alcalá), is the eighth-largest city in the United States and second-largest city in California.

This beeeeautiful city has been my home for the last nine years. During this time I have met some interesting people... I have built some strong friendships including my bestfriend and love, John.

In a few months John & I will be moving to Long Island, NY. But before that weather transition happens, we decided we needed to bring some good memories from the city where we met.
So, last week John rode his bird from Camp Pedlenton to the Centennial Naval Aviation in Coronado. On his way he captured the most beautiful pictures of this majestic Coast. I couldn't help but edited a few shots and share them with y'all!

Wonderful job, Love!

Centennial of Naval Aviation in San Diego

Last Saturday I spent my day with John at the 100 years of Naval Aviation in the North Island.
Since 1911 the Island has supplied the heartbeat of Navy Flying.

The nation's first aircraft carrier came here. Lots of pilots learn their crafts here through WWI & WWII.

The forerunner Navy's Blue Angels precision team was also born in San Diego.

San Diego has now the largest concentration of Navy and Marine Corps might. Planes and helicopters from North Island still head to sea aboard aircraft carriers on deployments around the world.

The Yergens

I love when I get the chance to photograph my friends. Not only for spending time with them and catching up but especially for being able to capture a beautiful moment in their lives!!

I met Vania while looking for a good Brazilian Esthetician in the US.
It has been already over 5 years and we became friends since then.

The Yergens are such a fun family and they were up for anything!

Little Sophia was just too adorable wearing that dress!! Definitely spreading the Christmas spirit!

Thank you guys! Looking forward to some camping time!

Unconditional Love

One day someone said: A daughter is a little girl who grown up to be a friend. Who ever said those words knew exactly what motherhood is all about.

Lynn & Marlei are the real proof of that quotation!

It was a wonderful morning with the ladies.... It brought me back some good memories from my childhood.

Cute dresses! ;)

Landscape - Along the Hwy 1

3 gals on the road, 1 sports car packed all the way up to the roof and a long 6 hours of dark driving towards paradise. NoCal, here we come!

Our plan was to drive all the way up to Monterey and from there down along the gorgeous and famous Hwy 1 towards home. If you live in California and haven't experienced the Hwy 1 and its breathtaking views, please don't waste any more time. Pack your hiking shoes, your water bottle and you bathing suit. There are plenty of campground all along your way, so don't forget your tent!!!

Hope you enjoy our little trip!

Monterey State Beach
Old Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey

We had a faaaabulous late lunch @ the Fisherman's Wharf!!

After lunch a quick walk thru town...

what a cute little place!

From Monterey we took the 17 Mile Drive towards Carmel! It actually felt like way more since we got lost driving in loops! HA!

I have always heard great things about this city. It's definitely really charming. Not to mention the fun time in the wine tasting rooms around town.

After a few glasses of wine and another fabulous late lunch in town we took off looking for a campground for the night. To get there... well, we enjoyed a beautiful landscape on our way.

Even tho all campgrounds were full, we found a spot for the night!

Let's waste no more time! Back on the road to see more pretty stuff! On our way to Big Sur! :)

Rocky Creek Bridge - 1932

Lots of farms on our way south! SO pretty!

And finally the "drop". We were looking forward to check this one out!

McWays Falls (80 ft. drop), Big Sur, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, Monterey County, CA

Yep.... definitely doing it again!
