Baby It's Cold Outside!

It has been REALLY cold this last week here in New York... the temperature dropped to 18°F (-8°C). And a few days ago we had some snow. 

The last decade I was residing in California so I haven't had the chance to take pictures of this freezing weather. Besides, last year the cold season was very mild. So I decided to go to the Fire Island and capture some Winter beauty. But for my deception, the bridge to the Island is still closed due to Hurricane Sandy. ☹

Even though I felt like Sandy threw a bucket of cold water on my intentions, I still hovered the Bay/Beach areas and got some Winter shots. Hope you like them!

Argyle Country Fair 2012

ARGYLE COUNTRY FAIR 2012 Hi everyone! Hope you are having a marvelous Summer! But before it's over why not enjoy a nice walk by Argyle Lake while checking out the Argyle Country Fair?!?! Sounds good, huh?! The Country Fair happens each September and it is sponsored by the Babylon Beautification Society. The event is known as one of the Long Island's best fairs. The Annual event holds hundreds of crafts vendors selling items to crowds that have been numbered in the thousands! It will be my first year participating at Country Fair and I have heard wonderful things about it! Do I need to say that I'm sooooo looking forward to it?! :) Items from my online store "Clicks & Creations" will be available for sale with a special price! Mark it in your calendar!!! The Argyle Country Fair is on SEPTEMBER 9th from Noon-5pm. Rain date is Sept. 16th. Fun Booth!

On May 6th I was participating on my very first Street Fair at Lindenhurst SpringFest. It was so much fun and I got to meet so many cool people!

Alice Bopp Photography's booth featured framed & unframed pictures and crafts like necklaces, magnets and notebooks displaying pictures taken by me.

We had also a photo shoot raffle going on for those who purchased any item at our booth.

Our next Street Fair takes place on June 16th & 17th at Seaford Railroad Station. Looking forward to see you there!

After Irene's Visit

I recently moved from San Diego, CA to Lindenhurst, NY. I'm here for a little bit over a month, and since then I have already been through an Earthquake (which I didn't feel a thing) and a Hurricane.... Irene! 

Well, I personally was expecting something way more intense then it really was. I definitely been through worse storms back home. Really. But even though I felt this way, the damage around my neighborhood showed exactly the opposite.

Cross Country

On July 19th, my husband and I started our move from San Diego to Long Island. It took us 6 days as we were traveling in 2 separated cars... along with 2 big dogs, a friend's parrot and a trailer being pulled by John's truck. During this wonderful journey I registered some beautiful landscapes from this huge country without parking the car!! Yes, very irresponsible but sooooo worth it!!!  :) 

I hope you like the results as much as I did!

Landscape - A Taste of Kauai

*SIGH*..... Kauai!!!

This Hawaiian island is one of the prettiest places I've been to in my life.  Beautiful beaches, fun culture, tropical landscape, wonderful food, refreshing cocktails... but there is one only problem! It leaves you with a taste of "i want more" by the time you're heading back to reality!

I been there almost 4 years ago and I can't wait to someday go for another visit!
